Table is set and ready for guests!
Mirrored chargers from Tuesday Morning anchor Holly Holiday china.
Red holly napkins are held with Lenox napkin rings.
My silver reindeer takes center stage.
I used artifical greenery as an anchor and added in fresh leland cypress and magnolia leaves. I also added poinsettia branches on each side, which matched the ones on the sideboard, and silver balls, silver finials, and my silver candlelabras.
Red stems tie in with the red napkins, and iced beverage glasses are Godinger.
Little mercury glass vases on each end hold red and green bouquets.
When these pictures were taken, I hadn't gotten around to adding the candles on my reindeer!!
Now on to January!! Let the New Year begin!! Take a look below for a New Year's setting for two! Thanks for your visit and your kind comments!

So elegant! I love the colors and decor in your dining room!
ReplyDeleteI'm tellin' you...you just have one of the prettiest dining rooms! Every time I see it I just want to jump right onto the screen and be a part of the picture. I like the way it's traditionally situated in a room all its own. Mine is the same way (although much smaller than yours!), and I wouldn't trade it for the world! I think I've told you before how much I love the fabric on those chairs, too. SO classic and Ralph Lauren-ish! Beautiful table with a lot of really terrific elements!!! The candelabra are spectacular, and I really like the reindeer placed front and center. You already know how emotionally attached I am to those mirrored chargers! :-) The Holly Holiday china is beautiful. I have some that is very similar that I wish I could identify. I bought it years and years ago, though, and there is no trace of the maker. The Holly Holiday pattern is such a classic look...beautiful for the Christmas season!
ReplyDeleteEverything Alycia said! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's just beautiful, and you can see the love you put into it!

Your dining room is beautiful to begin with and is spectacular with all the table decorations. I'm sure your family and guests were impressed and enjoyed dining at such an elegant table.-------Shannon
ReplyDeleteYour table really is gorgeous! I love the reindeer and the silver candelabra. Your centerpiece is lovely with the magnolia and leyland cypress, but I especially love the small bouquets in the mercury glass vases. I really adore red and green at Christmas! I also used Lenox napkin rings in my tablescape (a different pattern though).
ReplyDeleteI love what you said about better late than never because that's exactly the case with my tablescape this week. I even linked on late. (Sigh)
Everything looks lovely and thanks for sharing. Happy 2012 to you!
Denise
I love the holly china and your pretty centerpiece. Christmas was quite lovely in your dining room. Wishing you a bright and wonderful new year.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous table! I love your china pattern and the reindeer are so perfect for this setting. I know your family must have felt so special dining at that beautiful table for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your sweet comments. I did get them, I just moderate comments to prevent spam from posting, so sometimes if I'm away from the computer, it takes a little while for a comment to post. Wish I didn't have to worry about spam, but unfortunately I get quite a few a day.
So beautiful and elegant!!!! Love those candelabra.

Elegant, beautiful, and brought back memories! We share many of the same tastes and at first glance thought it was a picture from my old house! The plaid chairs did confuse me as I don't have those. From the wallpaper, china, similar crystal, and most especially the Repousse silver, we own the same.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog from BNOTP and will have to follow you. Was just stunned when I saw the Repousse, then kept looking and seeing more familiar. I love my Repousse and women always comment about they would hate to clean it. Do you hear that?
Happy New Year!
I never tire of seeing Christmas! I love the use of the artificial base with the fresh cypress and magnolia mixed in. Your reindeer is so handsome too, even without his candles :) Your Dining Room is SO beautiful and always makes me drool!
