As the song goes, "because I'm happy", a fun Easter tablescape was designed to welcome both my children home for Easter! It's not too often these days that we are all together at the same time. With Child #1 living in New York, and Child #2 still in college at VA Tech, we cannot seem to get our schedules to work out so that everyone is home at the same time. I am happy to say that it hopefully will work out that we will all be together for Easter this year! I think they decided to come because Easter Sunday is also my birthday. So I will prepare all of our favorite Easter dishes, and we will enjoy good food and each other's company!! What a fantastic birthday present!!
My spring table was changed up a bit and became an Easter table. The napkin rings, salad plate, and centerpiece were changed, but the dishes, flatware, and glasses are the same.
I created a centerpiece arrangement using a wheelbarrow-type container, Easter eggs, and spring flowers.
The bunnies were purchased this year at HomeGoods, and I found a cute little basket for this guy to hold.
The salad plate was changed to yellow, which brought out the yellow in the arrangement.
The bunny napkin rings have been around a long time. Wish I had more than four!!
I believe the bunnies are Fitz & Floyd.
This fellow has a cute little butterfly that has landed on his backside.
The flowers in the arrangement are artificial, and I purchased the glitter eggs at Michaels. For our actual dinner, I will more than likely prepare a fresh arrangement. That's the plan for right now!
I will serve spinach artichoke dip and chips upon their arrival using this silver tray, white basket, and cabbage bowl.
This tray livens up the kitchen counter.
I enjoy using this trumpet vase on the island because it doesn't take up much space.
Peace, happiness, and joy to you at Easter and always!!
