We are keeping the pool open for awhile, since fall is one of the best times to enjoy the outside.
Chargers are currently available at Tuesday Morning, and dinner plates were purchased last year at TJ Maxx. Limoge plates have a delicate floral design, and even though they weren't precisely the right colors, I thought they blended well with the purple and green.
I found this runner in Home Goods and loved the combination of purple and lime green.
I purchased these limoge salt cellars on Ebay, I think. It's been awhile ago.
I think the lime green napkins brighten the table a bit. I tried the other way around, but I liked this better.
Bird's eye view...
I added liriope blooms to white daisy mums, carnations, and baby's breath for added color.
At dusk, candles are lit.
Goodnight, all!! Thanks for stopping by, I'll try to be more fall-like next week :) As always, I appreciate your kind comments!
I love that color combo...and the table runner is gorgeous and pulls it all together! The limoges are also beautiful!!!

ReplyDeleteHello...
ReplyDeleteOooh...your summery table is gorgeous, my friend! I have always loved a purple and green color combination, in fact, I had a bedroom done in it several years ago. I love the table runner...it makes such a beautiful statement and foundation for your beautiful table! Ohhh..and the purple candle holders are to die for! Everything is soooo beautiful...from your pretty white flower centerpiece...right down to the white place settings! Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous table with us!
I have to tell you, a cold front moved into our little corner of Colorado last night. It is only 67 degrees out...brrrr!
Warmest wishes,
Chari
What a beautiful runner~ I love how it pairs the green & purple~ it's beautiful with your delicate floral plates and the bold color of your napkins!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful by day, but what a treat to dine there by night! Love your string of fairy lights in the background :-)
Ahhh, the final summer tablescape! It's lovely! Love that runner and the Limoge china! We've cooled off here a lot. I found purple stemware at T.J.'s today and I'm thrilled. I've been checking constantly for it. Your night pictures make me want to sit right down and join you!
ReplyDeleteI love the crisp contrast between the purple and lime against the white...this table may be simple, but very beautiful.
ReplyDeletePurple with lime green is one of my favorite color combinations. It is so pretty against the white. What a lovely setting too and so nice at night. I may have to run out to Tuesday Morning and look for those beautiful chargers. Great find on the runner!

Incredibly beautiful runner. Love the purple candlesticks, too. I'm so jealous of everyone who has a Home Goods store near them. Purple and lime green always look fabulous together.
ReplyDeleteI think you may cause a run at Tuesday Morning to look for those chargers! I love the purple and green especially the runner. Great table as always!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE your purple and lime with the white -- what a perfect combination. What a beautiful runner -- perfect for this pretty table.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the purple and lime!!! Loving it!!! this is a great transitional table because it has both the deep purple and the bright white and green...a little bit of both seasons! Purple is just one of those fabulous all-year-round kind of colors. I think I know the purple dishes from TJ Maxx you're talking about. I have them, but forgot I had them! I saw them on Mary's (Home is Where the Boat Is) post this morning, but didn't recognize them/remember I had the same dishes!!! I really think it's all about how different elements are used. I love the runner you've used here...it is reallly pretty!!! In a couple of the photos, the table covering takes on a slight lavender hue. Very cool!!! LOVE the stemware! Yikes!!! It is TOO pretty!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePurple and lime green look so good together. Your table looks so pretty. I have that runner too and just love it. Temp in the 80's is just perfect to do tablescapes outside. Your pool looks so nice. We keep ours open all year round...Christine
ReplyDeleteMy sister is right--I am headed to Tueday Morning to get chargers! I just love purple, and the hint of green against so much white is just gorgeous! I also love to see a formal table setting outside. Thanks for sharing!
