A Garden Setting

Just had to show you this beautiful hosta.  The area beside our house and along the sidewalk to the back gets very little sun, so we transplanted a couple of hosta plants to that area.  They are loving it there, and have gotten huge.
It is beginning to shoot up!

It might be hard to grasp how big this is by looking at the picture, so hope these pictures help...

This decorative garden stone weighs a ton, so I have to get help to move it.

It's under there somewhere...


The color is beautiful...

Just a few more shots of how Spring looked a week or so ago.  I'm not the world's best photographer, but here goes!

    Lovely photos. I wish I could grow hostas.. mine didn't do well at all last year. Yours look lovely!

    Beautiful hosta, it looks like Sum & Substance!? We had some at previous house, I really miss it! I love when the azaleas pop :-)

    Breathtaking! I loved every single green inch of this post & all the wonderful other colors, too!

    I have ONE such hosta on the side of the house. Thanks for the idea of photographing its growth process. It sends out gorgeous white flowers mid summer, which the deer around here love. :-(

    It is looking beautiful! Ours have popped too, now to keep the deer away from them, they love them and can devour them in one night! I wish more people would eat venison! :)

    Your flowers are beautiful. I love your red tulips. Mine have gone the way of chipmunk and vole food! Hostas seem to pot up over night don't they.
