About Me

My photo
A Perfect Setting
I was raised in a small town, where I was surrounded by family. Our family consisted of my mom and dad, my older brother, and me. My mother had 3 sisters that lived within a block of us, and I grew up with my cousins, who were more like my brothers and sisters. To this day, we still get together for holidays and special occasions. I taught high school for 15 years, and for the last 11 years I have been helping my husband with administrative tasks for his marketing company. I have two wonderful children, a daughter, who graduated from James Madison University, and is pursuing her dreams of a musical theatre career and a 19-year old son, who is a sophomore at Virginia Tech. I am an empty-nester! I love projects, decorating, and setting a pretty table. I am inspired by all the tablescaping blogs, and I aspire to attain a perfect setting!!
